According to the police, an arsonist is said to have started a fire in the basement of an Upper Franconian residential building. Twelve people were brought out of the house in Ebersdorf near Coburg (Coburg district) by emergency services on Sunday morning, a police spokesman said. A woman complained of slight breathing problems and received medical treatment. Initially, it was said that there were no injuries. A basement compartment burned out completely. The residents stayed in a gym while the fire was being put out. Now the police are investigating.
