The economic recovery in the state of Bremen continues. The price-adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 5.1 percent in 2022, as reported by the State Statistical Office on Thursday. Adjusted for inflation, Bremen has the strongest growth in a country comparison. This is a preliminary estimate.

GDP includes the value of all goods and services produced within an economic area. According to the announcement, price-adjusted GDP increased nationwide by 1.8 percent. As usual, the state office did not provide any information on the reasons for the comparatively high growth in Bremen.
