A 26-year-old driver suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident in Upper Franconia. The man lost control of his vehicle in a right-hand bend in Bayreuth and left the road, the police said on Sunday. He collided with a larger traffic sign on Sunday morning and rolled over. The 26-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident. The ambulance then took him to the hospital. According to the police, the man was apparently drunk, but this has yet to be proven with a blood test.
