Since its foundation in 2007 has Covidence in total earned nearly 300 million dollars.

In 2014 the sold owners of the company to the british private equity fund Montagu for between 700 and 900 million crowns, and Covidence had growing pains.
Last year sold Montagu Covidence on to another private equity firm, EMC Capital.
