The former belgian prime minister Charles Michael takes over the job as president of the european UNION on Friday.

In five years, the heads of the EU system called Donald and Jean-Claude, but their time is ending now, as the Ursula and Charles takes over.

Friday is the time for the european UNION-president Donald Tusk to say goodbye and hello to the successor to Charles Michel.

It happens at a ceremony in the Council of ministers in Brussels, where the EU president has his office.

- I will present this sacred scepter to you, says Tusk, and gives the belgian the bell, which he uses, when heads of state and government are gathered.
