WITTLICH ------------------------------------------------------------ Wittlich, 08. July 2020 ------------------------------------------------------------ accident with seriously injured a scooter rider in Wittlich On Wednesday, 08. July 2020, at around 02:20 a.m., occurred in Wittlich, in the kurfuerstenstrasse, in the amount of the confluence with the Gottlieb-Daimler-Straße, a road accident between a car driver and scooter driver.

Probably both vehicles were seen on the Kurfürstenstraße road out of town. Here, the cars of the 22 captured-year-old man from the area of the VG Bernkastel-Kues, the scooter, the 58-year-old woman from Wittlich.

In the case of the car driver noticed the officers in the context of the accident smell of alcohol in the breath. The breath alcohol test gave a value of about 1.8 ppm, which confirmed the finding of the officials.

The driver's license of the young man was seized and he was taken from a blood sample.
