Gerhard Schröder remains a member of the SPD – and the ex-Chancellor is happy. On Thursday, shortly after the decision became known, Schröder was satisfied that, according to the arbitration commission of the SPD district of Hanover, there were still no reasons for a party exclusion. He was "not surprised" by the decision, Schröder told the star about confidants. The decision of the arbitration commission, the second in favor of Schröder, is "legally sound and convincing, as well as politically consistent," said the ex-chancellor.
