Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philipp: Their youngest son celebrates his third birthday

Prince Carl Philip (44) and Princess Sofia (39) have published a new picture for their youngest son's third birthday. It shows birthday boy Prince Julian dressed up and happy with his birthday cake.

The couple posted the sweet shot on their Instagram page. “Today we celebrate 3 years with you, beloved Julian,” it said. The posting also features a heart and a balloon. The picture shows the little Swedish prince in a beige sweater, with a white shirt collar peeking out underneath. The blonde boy looks alertly into the camera. In front of him is a yellow cake with a large number candle burning on it. In a short video shown in the Instagram story, he marvels at the smoke from the three blown out.

Prince Julian is the baby of the family. He is the youngest of Carl Philip and Sofia's three sons and also the youngest grandchild of King Carl Gustaf (77) and Queen Silvia (80). The royal couple has a total of eight grandchildren. Julian is seventh in line to the Swedish throne. His parents have been married since June 13, 2015. His eldest brother Prince Alexander was born on April 19, 2016, followed by Prince Gabriel on August 31, 2017.
