King Charles III (74) has gathered his family for his first Easter appearance as monarch in Windsor. Charles was greeted by his wife Camilla, 75, and his eldest grandchildren, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and others on the public walk between Windsor Castle and St George's Chapel, where the royal service is held ) and Prince Louis (4), accompanied.

It was Louis' first public Easter appearance. He walked by the hand of his mother, Princess Kate, 41, and alongside his father, Prince William, 40. Kate and Camilla sported bright blue outfits.

Also present for the royal Easter is Prince Andrew (63), who was seen alongside his sister Princess Anne (72), who also had her husband Tim Laurence (68) with them. Andrew, who fell out of favor over the Epstein scandal, is rarely seen in public with the royals.

Princess Beatrice (34) and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (39), the pregnant Princess Eugenie (33) and her husband Jack Brooksbank (36) and Mike (44) and Zara Tindall (41) with their two oldest children also attended the royal Easter walk - just like the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Prince Edward (59) and his wife Sophie (58), with their son James (15).

It is the first Easter for the royals without Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), who died in September. Easter Sunday also coincides with the death anniversary of Prince Philip (1921-2021). The Queen's husband died on April 9, 2021. However, the family reunion should not only be determined by grief. The entertainment program for the children, including an Easter egg hunt, could have been organized by Princess Kate, suspects royal expert Ingrid Seward in the "Sun".
