Kanye West: After Instagram, Twitter blocks the account

The scandal surrounding Kanye West (45) and his anti-Semitic posts continues. After Instagram removed a post and restricted his account, the rapper switched to Twitter. There he reactivated his channel, which had previously been idle for around two years. A series of scary tweets followed, in Kanye West fashion. At least one of them is said to have already been deleted. The accusation: again anti-Semitic gaffes.

After the post was initially only provided with an automatic message that the content violated Twitter rules, the entry has now been completely deleted. A spokesman for the short message service confirmed to the "BuzzFeed News" portal that the entire account had also been blocked for violating guidelines.

Kanye West has been exhibiting extremely disturbing behavior for weeks. First he presented himself in a T-shirt with the racist slogan "White Lives Matter", then he followed up in interviews and Instagram posts.

In the meantime, Jewish associations have already spoken out. Among other things, the American Jewish Committee said that Kanye West fueled hatred of Jews. His behavior was "deeply disturbing, dangerous and anti-Semitic". There would be no excuse for "propagating white racist slogans".
