He posted a picture of him and his co-author and "good friend" Sean Ono Lennon (48). The similarity to her famous fathers Paul McCartney (81) and John Lennon (1940-1980) is obvious.

"With the release of this song we feel like we're really getting the ball rolling and I'm really looking forward to continuing to share music with you," young McCartney wrote alongside the image.

The title "Primrose Hill" refers to a hill in London's Regent's Park that gives its name to the surrounding area. The song is based on a "vision" that James McCartney had as a child in Scotland on a sunny day. "I saw my true love and my savior in my mind's eye," McCartney wrote on X a few days ago. "'Primrose Hill' is about getting the ball rolling and finding that person."
