Princess Kate's younger brother (42) posted a sweet selfie on Instagram that shows him with his son Inigo. Father and son are wearing identical black berets in the photo. He commented: "Matching berets to celebrate my birthday. Surrounded by family, friends and of course my dogs." However, he left it in the dark whether his older sister, who was suffering from cancer, was also among the birthday guests.

Three weeks ago he posted an old childhood photo and wrote: "Over the years we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too." Prince William's wife (41) made it public in March - after weeks of wild speculation about her health - that she was battling cancer. This was discovered after her abdominal operation in January. In the emotional video, Kate also explained that she had started preventive chemotherapy.

James Middleton has been married to his wife Alizee Thevenet since 2021. James Middleton announced his pregnancy in an Instagram post last July. “We couldn’t be more excited,” he wrote.

Son Inigo is the cousin of Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5), as well as the niece or nephew of Princess Kate and Prince William (41). It is the seventh grandchild for Kate's parents Carole (69) and Michael Middleton (74). Daughter Pippa Matthews (40) and her husband James (48) also have three children: Arthur (5), Grace (2) and Rose (1).
