Monday stack the voldssigtede footballer Bernio Verhagen from the police - but early Tuesday morning he is again arrested.

He was found in a basement room in a block of flats in the town.

It tells Jens Claumarch from Middle - and Vestjyllands Police on Tuesday morning to the news agency Ritzau.

The controversial footballer, who in november was on contract in the football club Viborg FF, succeeded on Monday with the running away from the police, when he was transferred to the jail at Indianapolis, shortly after his pre-trial detention had been extended.

on Tuesday morning shortly after the bell 04-lit the Middle - and Vestjyllands Police on Twitter that he was caught again:

'The missing Verhagen has been arrested in Holstebro at. 04:00. We thank you for the many enquiries,' he said.

To the news agency Ritzau says Jens Claumarch, that the operation took some hours, since you went through an entire block of flats to Holstebro train Station to find him.

"We get some inquiries from the residents in the town centre, which believe that they have seen the person in a specific address," says vagtchefen.

"we quickly down, because we have patrols out, and we'll put us on the field, as it is called. It means that we get shut of, so if it is the person, are we sure that he is inside the building. Then we go systematically through from the loft to the cellar, and he is eventually found in a basement room."

During his flight from the police was Bernio Verhagen extremely active on the social media.

Among other things, he wrote a message that he was on the way out of the country:

'today (Monday, red.) I left the prison, and right now I'm on the way to Sweden to visit a good friend,' he wrote among others, and continued:

'I remain silent until retsdagen 10. January (the date on which the judge Monday chose to extend the remand to the, red.).'

The messages were, according to the police probably a red herring.

How Verhagen has gained access to the property by the police yet.

The spectacular case of Verhagen began in earnest, when Viborg FF 25. november terminated the contract with the 25-year-old play, as it was felt that the player had signed a contract with the club under false pretenses.

the Same day were Bernio Verhagen was arrested in connection with the tumult in a kiosk at the train Station in Vyborg, and shortly after he was charged with threats, violence and robbery.

on Monday extended the police charges against Verhagen, who according to the police repeatedly over a three-week period must have been violent towards his ex-girlfriend at a hotel and in an apartment in Viborg.

Verhagen refuses is guilty in the raised charges.
