This is a granite statue called The black Woman that passers-by did not see any more as it was part of the decor of the Leuchtenburgstrasse, this street, shaded away from the centre of hip Berlin. All around, villas cossues, scheduling quiet of a residential neighborhood, without stories. Until as residents are discovering, a few days ago, that the black woman squatted down, hunched over, hands on knees, had been beheaded by unknown persons during the night.
