TF1 have co-acquired the broadcast rights from Altice, the parent company of RMC Sport, which holds the broadcast rights of the competition, " explains the Team.
On Sunday 23 August, from 21 hours, the kick-off of the final of the competition will be given therefore, live on RMC Sport, but also on TF1. On the first channel, the meeting will be commented by the duo reference chain : Grégoire Margotton - Bixente Lizararu. If it is RMC Sport that has, up to the end of the season 2021, the broadcasting rights of the champions League in france, the French legislation imposes a broadcast in the clear, the title of the sporting events of major importance. Last year, the final had been aired on BFMTV, a chain which also belongs to the group Altice. The broadcast was then made to react the CSA considered contrary to the convention of the string.

A French club at the rendezvous ?
Two French clubs are still in contention in the competition : PSG and Lyon. The first is already guaranteed to face Atalanta in Bergamo on the occasion of the quarter-finals.
