Weather in Germany: The continuous rain will end in the middle of next week

Hold out for another half week, then summer could return. Sebastian Schappert from the weather forecast center of the German Weather Service (DWD) gives hope for a "ray of hope" from Tuesday.

Rain and wind could then subside. In the south in particular, the sun will appear more frequently again from the middle of the week. "The temperatures can also increase significantly from the south-west, so that on Tuesday the 24 degrees and on Wednesday even the 29 degrees are within the realms of possibility," said the meteorologist.

Before that, you have to survive another rainy weekend. The DWD forecast predicts "shower-like rainfall and isolated thunderstorms" that are expected to last until Monday. There are also strong, sometimes stormy gusts. The maximum temperatures are only up to 20 degrees.
