There is a loneliness pandemic in Germany. Teenagers and young adults are particularly affected, but also older people whose partners, relatives and friends are gradually dying away. Also at risk are the chronically ill, people in poverty and newcomers who have come to study or work, or because of war and displacement - as well as single parents or people who feel excluded because of their sexual orientation.

The loneliness protocols tell of people who have already found their way out of isolation or are still looking.
