Each of us has probably read slogans like “homemade”, “made by hand”, “made with love” at an ice cream parlor. But even if it seems so at first glance, these are not protected terms and therefore they say nothing about the quality of the ice cream. Because ice cream is often made with tricks.

Since this can be quite confusing for consumers, we took a close look at various ice cream offers in our big ice cream test. Together with experts, we not only went to ice cream parlors, but also to supermarkets.
