A 21-year-old driver was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the L01 near Schönberg on Saturday. The man drove his car off the right side of the road and crashed into a tree, the police said. First responders immediately called the emergency services. Several ambulances, a rescue helicopter, the fire department and the police were on site. The 21-year-old driver was flown to hospital with serious injuries. The country road was completely closed during the rescue work.
