SDG&E reported outages in several communities Monday. Crews are currently investigating the cause of the outage and determining when power will be restored.

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego Gas & Electric reports outages in several North San Diego neighborhoods Monday morning.

UPDATE 10.15 a.m.

SDG&E reports that more than 13,000 customers are without power in North San Diego. The outages were first reported at 9:15 a.m. Monday. There is currently no time when power might be restored.

Customers without power: 13,367

ORIGINAL STORY 9 :45 a.m.

More than 5,000 SDG&E customers were without power Monday morning at 9:45 am. According to the utility, the outage occurred just before 9 a.m. and power restoration is expected by 11:30 a.m.

Crews continue to assess the outage in an effort to determine the cause.
