Accident: E-scooter driver collides with car - seriously injured

An 18-year-old e-scooter driver was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The young woman turned left with her electric vehicle at an intersection and collided with an oncoming car, the police said on Wednesday. According to the police, the scooter driver probably drove over the traffic light when it was red on Tuesday evening. The young woman was taken to hospital with head injuries. The 31-year-old driver was unharmed, police said.
