Sometimes he is at a loss for words. Not out of shame or embarrassment, he just can't find them in his head, he thinks and thinks, but they won't come to him. This is particularly the case in stressful situations, a late consequence of the trauma, just one of them. And so Jens Windel, 48 years old, broad back, dark blue suit, light blue eyes, stands in the Berlin rain on an August afternoon and prefers to think about what he wants to say to the Federal President right away.
