The Swedish king has had its share of scandals, and both the Spanish king and the belgian king had abdicated following scandals about mistresses. Now it is the british yndlingsprins prince Andrew, which is in focus in a sexsag.

But why is it always the royal men, which is the center of the scandals? It has kongehusekspert Lars Hovbakke Sørensen, an explanation of.

"Some of the scandals hanging the along with sexuality, and young women and extramarital affairs. And it has probably traditionally been a culture in the european royal families further back in time, to the men to be able to afford anything in relation to women and girls," he explains.

According to Lars Hovbakke Sørensen, is that some of the men in the european royal families still stuck in the culture.

Both the Swedish king and the now abdicated the Spanish and abdicated the belgian king have all been accused of having affairs.

It is well known that the former Spanish king Juan Carlos for many years had a relationship with the 47-year-old Danish-born Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein.

The now former belgian king Albert II was involved in perhaps the most sensational case, when he last year of the belgian court was ordered to submit a dna test after the bombarding of infidelity.

According to the allegations, he would have to have had an affair with baroness Sybille de Selys Longchamps, which should have resulted in his daughter Delphine Boël.

"It is pretty wild. Such a thing is probably happening back in the 1600 - and 1700-century, but the difference is that it is coming forward now, Piabet and it fits incredibly bad for the morals and the norms and values you have in your population now. And he's going to appear like totally extreme," says Lars Hovbakke Sørensen.

And it does not ameliorate the fact that it is prince Andrew who is queen Elizabeth's third child and favourite son, who has ended up in so ugly a case.

"It makes it worse, for they had not imagined that he would do that kind of thing. Many had probably a completely different image of him, as they have had to review quite heavily," says Lars Hovbakke Sørensen.

"Prince Andrew is a typical example of the old culture that exist within kongehusene compared to what men can afford. Because they traditionally have had the position and power and status as kings and as the senior in the society," he adds.
