Gabby Petito Foundation is 'up and running to help parents bring their children home.

"The Gabby Petito Foundation has launched!" A Twitter account with the foundation's name was tweeted Sunday. "We still have much work ahead of us. The website is just beginning so please be patient. We will get there. We are grateful for your support and love. "She has touched the entire world."

Gabby Petito (now deceased 22-year-old) was the foundation's founder. She was reported missing Sept. 11. A week later, on September 19, officials discovered her remains in Bridger-Teton National Park, Wyoming. Although an official autopsy report has not been released, a local coroner declared her death a homicide.

Petito's parents founded the foundation "to provide resources and guidance in bringing their children home," Joe Petito (Gabby's father) said in a Sept. 25 Tweet.

He stated, "No one should be forced to find their child by themselves." "We want to help others in similar situations to Gabby."

Bracelets can be purchased on the foundation's site by donors.

HIKER Claims He SAW BRIAN LAKERIE NEAR APPALACHIAN TRAIL

In recent weeks, Petito's disappearance as well as her homicide has dominated national headlines. It is still unclear how she died. Brian Laundrie, her fiance, is wanted for bank fraud charges. He is still at large and in danger of being arrested by law enforcement.

Petito and Laundrie were on a trip across the country in a Ford Transit van in the summer. Laundrie returned to North Port, Florida Sept. 1, in the van alone, after Petito reported her missing. Petito was reported missing by her parents on Sept. 11. Laundrie's parents reported Laundrie missing Sept. 17, but claimed that he last saw them Sept. 14.

Officials claimed that Laundrie refused to cooperate with the police investigation after Petito's missing persons report was filed on Sept. 11. September 14th, the Laundries' attorney issued a statement stating that he had told his clients to "remain in the background." Three days later, the family announced that Brian had disappeared since Sept. 14.

The FBI and law enforcement are still looking for the 23-year old fugitive.
