The 36-year-old driver of the VW was on the K 3717 of Ötigheim in the direction of Muggensturm on-the-go. At the junction in the B-3 he disregarded the right-of-way of a 37-year-old man, was in his Mercedes on the B 3 in the direction of Rastatt on-the-go. Both vehicles collided on the B 3. After the collision the VW overturned; the engine was totally damaged on the roof. The Mercedes came close to the collision point to a halt and caught fire. The six occupants of both vehicles were all injured and had to be delivered in surrounding hospitals. The resulting property damage is on rd. 5,000 euros prized.
