All the inhabitants left the building and continued on Thursday, shortly after 23-hour emergency call. The smoke quickly developed into an open fire, which spread over the facade and on the roof. Problematic from the fire covered the roof insulation. Ultimately, the fire brigades Deggenhausertal, horgenzell, Markdorf and Oberteuringen were able to bring the fire under control. Furthermore, use of forces of the DRC, the police, the fire chief and the mayor were on the site. All parties Involved were unharmed. The property damage is estimated at several hundred thousand euros.
