This was stated by the alleged Microsoft employee that the Computer of the couple would be in a few days, if no new Update would be applied. The couple responded to the calls-resistant and known to have been no personal data, so that due to the exemplary behaviour in this case, there is no damage.

The police noted that reputable companies, such as Microsoft, record, in principle, no unsolicited contact to your customers.

Should report an alleged service employees, without the customer having asked for it, end the conversation in case of doubt.

The police advises to continue, never private data (e.g. account data, access data, passwords) and to grant to any unknown caller access to the Computer.
