690 hours of sunshine recorded on Friday released the provisional Spring report of the German weather service for the Hanseatic city, over 200 more than in the long-term average from 1961 to 1990. At the same time, around 85 litres of precipitation per square meter fell to almost half as much as the much years of the reference value. With an average temperature of 9.2 degrees, the spring was warmer than in the middle (of 8.0 degrees). Thus, the Hamburg spring corresponded to the nationwide Trend. The spring of 2020 was in Germany, one of the sunniest since weather records began and as in previous years, quite warm. The spring is also one of the six driest since 1881.
