The Hamburg Senate announced on Friday. Previously, the Board of Trustees Köttering for a further six years, was elected President, the University Senate has confirmed this election. "Prof. Martin Köttering has sharpened the profile of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste as one of the most renowned artistic universities in Germany in the last six years," said science Senator, Katharina Fegebank (Green). Köttering directs the University since 2002.
