After school, Luke began his three-year apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, which he completed in early 2019 successfully. Today, he works at a company in Nieder-Gemünden - from the house to the work place only a few miles separate him. "This is a slice of life feeling. The proximity to home is important to me, I am faster home, you must take no long stretch to me, and can use this time gained for our local clubs." In a couple of weeks Becker goes but new career paths: in the community of Lautertal, in the bird mountain circle, he begins a training to the Administrative assistants. This training, he wanted to start after school, at the time, "it did not arise, but, unfortunately," said Becker. Now he is looking forward to the coming new tasks "in this profession, I would like to gain experience for my future career".

in Spite of job changes, volunteering, Luke loses: The 22-Year-old is a member of the local fire Department and engaged in the sports club SV Ehringshausen, especially in the Department carnival. There he grew up as a child in, "my mother danced in a guard, even when she was pregnant with me, so that's probably in the genes," says and he laughs. His free time he uses to work as a volunteer: "a Lot of friendships are already emerged earlier this remained until this day. It's just nice when you do something together and have fun. This is only possible in the community." Therefore he loves his work in the fire service: "I need that. Here I can achieve something for the people, we do something together and see what we have achieved."

In the bird mountain feels Becker is happy as a clam. If he wants to get away from it, out he goes out the front door and walk a few steps into the forest. "That's where I have my space and my peace and can relax. No traffic, no crowds of people, as it is in the city, this is what the bird mountain makes." City, the fray, the industry does not need a mechanic at all. "I would also like to stay in the future to live here. I am rooted in the Region."

a Dedicated member of the SPD

This decision depends on Luke, but also of the opportunities that the bird mountain in the future. Because the 22-Year-old can imagine, at some point, a political office to actively carry out - also that's why he opted for a training as an administrative assistant. Since 2015 he is a member of the SPD and is involved with his party for the people and their interests in the bird mountain. "I'm happy for the people and take care of problems." Many of the solutions he has found, in the five years that encourage him, the office of Chairman of the SPD Gemünden (Felda) continue to run. "It shows that it is worth, you can achieve something for the people on the ground. Often, even with little effort, that to me is just fun."

The SPD has become for him "a second family" that helps him more, "if the Shoe pinches". Lukas knows exactly what political steps are important to make the bird mountain in the future, especially for young people. "We need to show people that it is beautiful here is how high the quality of our life is and what a treasure we have here locally." He wants to create with his party's ideas are for young people.
