The school has even decided to give all of its courses online until the end of the next academic year, in the summer of 2021, because of the pandemic of Covid-19, as announced by a spokesperson.

"The university is constantly adapting to the recommendations that are evolving," said a spokesman, " given that social distancing will continue to be necessary, the university has decided that there would be more face-to-face during the next academic year ". Because of the pandemic, all the teachings of the university, which has approximately 20 000 students, there are online since the month of march. The same goes for the exams.

Some classes may be "small groups"

It will be possible, however, that some courses are physically in the " small groups ", provided that the measures of distance can be put in place, said the spokesman. This announcement comes in the midst of controversy in the Uk about the reopening of part of the schools planned from the 1st June, contested by a number of local authorities. Before Cambridge, the university of Manchester had decided to extend the online courses in the first semester of the next academic year.
