Iran savoring a small victory after a vote of the security Council of the UN has rejected, Friday, August 14, a resolution proposed by Washington to extend the embargo on arms sales to Iran, which expires in October.
" Since 75 years of history of the united Nations, America has never been so lonely ", tweeted the spokesperson of the iranian foreign ministry, Abbas Mousavi, after that only two countries out of the fifteen members of the security Council have approved the project of extension of the arms embargo.

The embargo against arms sales to the islamic Republic expires on October 18, according to the terms of the resolution which approved the international agreement on the iranian nuclear issue, concluded in July 2015 between Iran and the international community. Vote at the UN, "yesterday evening, diplomacy of Iran, as well as the legal force of [the agreement on the nuclear] have again defeated the United States in the security Council" welcomed Abbas Mousavi.
