Bhambri, a Delhi-born player, was granted a direct entry to the main draw due to his protected rankings. Prajnesh, a medallist at the Asian Games, will face Jozef Kovalik, while Daniel Altamaier, the fifth-seeded, in the first round.

Prajnesh and Bhambri will be joined by Arjun Kadhe, a local boy, and Ramkumar Ramanathan, Asia's top singles player. They will compete in the singles main draws. This draw features a strong field, including top players from all over the world, including the World No. 15 Aslan Karatsev.

Ricardas Berrankis, Lithuania's top-ranked player, will also be in action. Seven singles opening round matches will take place on Monday. Berankis will face Halys Quentin from France.

 

As four doubles matches take place on Day 1, the top-seeded Australian duo of Luke Saville & John-Patrick Smith will face off against Stefano Travaglia & Bernabe Zapata Mialles.

India's Sasikumar Mound and Manish Sureshkumar were defeated in the qualifying matches on Sunday. Mukund was defeated by Celikbilek Altug of Turkey 6-3, 3-3. Sureshkumar lost 6-2, 3-3 to Czech player Kopriva Vit 6-3.

Alexandre Muller and Jay Clarke, Gian Marc Moroni, Marc Polmans, Jay Clarke and Kimmer Koppejans were among the players who advanced to the second qualifying round. They are now one win away from a place in the main draw.
