Wheeler, who started his NFL livelihood in 2017 after filming at USC, got to the altercation at Kent, Wash., the Seattle Times reported.
The girlfriend allegedly told the authorities she suffered a dislocated arm and was still bleeding. Police said that when they arrived at the scenethey heard crying coming from the restroom, where they discovered Wheeler standing alongside his girlfriend, that the Times reported.
The altercation allegedly started after Wheeler's girlfriend refused to bow to him. That is if he grabbed her, dragged her on the mattress, and choked her until she was unconscious, authorities said. After she recovered consciousness, Wheeler allegedly said,"Wow you are alive?"
The girlfriend was recorded at 5-foot-9, 145 lbs from the report.
The Seahawks released a statement Monday night concerning the incident.
"We're conscious of the problem and gathering information," the announcement read.
Wheeler, who was undrafted at 2017, signed together with all the New York Giants as a free agent after the draft. In 2019, he had been cut and signed with the Seahawks' practice squad. He played five matches in 2020.
