Formula 3: No podium finish for a German driver

The German driver missed out on the first of two formula 3 races at the Hungaroring podium significantly. The tenth place of David Beckmann (Hagen/Trident) in the victory of the French Theo Pourchaire (KIND of) was the best yield from the German point of view. After all, there was a championship point and Pole Position for the second race on Sunday (09: 45/Sky).

On place 16 David Schumacher (Bergheim/Charouz), son of former formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher ended up. 18. Sophia was Flörsch (green forest/Campos), the only woman in the field.

Lirim Zendeli (Bochum/Trident) retired after a collision with Jack Doohan (Australia/HWA), the son of former motorcycle world champion Mick Doohan, in the seventh of 22 rounds. For pole setter Alexander Smoljar (Russia/KIND) was the end of the race after a Crash with Prema driver Logan Sargeant (USA) shortly after the Start.

In the overall standings after five races in Hungary, second-placed Australian Oscar Piastri (Prema/62 points) in front of Sargeant (49) and Pourchaire (41). Beckmann is of 32.5 points in Sixth.
