Tournament in France: New Zealand after beating Argentina in the Rugby World Cup final

New Zealand lived up to their role as favorites in the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup.

Thanks to a never-threatened 44:6 (20:6) at the Stade de France against Argentina, the All Blacks made it into the final. The opponents there on October 28th - also in Saint-Denis, north of Paris - will be England or South Africa. The two major rugby powers will play against each other in the second semi-final on Saturday (9 p.m./ProSieben MAXX). New Zealand last won the Webb Ellis Cup in 2015, and at the last World Cup in 2019, South Africa triumphed in the final against England.

The three-time world champion dominated against Argentina from the start and was already 20-6 ahead at the break. In the second half, the South American offensive barely managed anything, while the New Zealanders played their game routinely over time. Will Jordan scored the most attempts (11th, 62nd and 73rd minutes). After 1987, 2011 and 2015, the All Blacks want to reach for title number four in a week on Saturday.
