Manchester United have confirmed they will take "appropriate steps" following Cristiano Ronaldo's sensational interview.

But after five nights of drama and discussions on various issues, United have now confirmed they will take action.

According to the Daily Mail, the steps mentioned are the termination of Ronaldo's contract. The association accuses the superstar of breach of contract and wants to end the cooperation immediately and without compensation. CR7 would lose £16m in unpaid wages as a result.
