Liverpool without flow: Klopp moans because of injuries

Difficult start to the season for Liverpool FC: Jürgen Klopp admits that he is worried about injuries at the Reds.

The recent defeat by Nottingham Forest was another setback for Liverpool FC - and it came just days after the Reds put in a strong performance against Manchester City.

Overall, the LFC has won only four of eleven Premier League games this season, even if things are going better in the Champions League since the heavy 4-1 defeat against SSC Napoli on the first day of the game.

Liverpool have consistently been without key players, including Thiago, Andrew Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip and Ibrahima Konate, who have missed several games. Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz are currently out until at least after the World Cup break.

"The problem is that the players who are not injured have to play too often and then the players who are injured come back and often play too early. That's how it is," said Klopp before the Champions League game against Ajax.

The Germany coach added that given the tight schedule, the players need time to recover, which is also a challenge. "It's difficult, and of course situations like this cannot be solved overnight," he said.

"We played really well a couple of times but it's not that we don't have problems in those games. We play a good game and then two players drop out after the game. Wow, and then another one that's no longer than 20 minutes is available," groaned Klopp and said: "It's not easy."
