Clifton Broumand hurries up the stairs, out of the underpass into the afternoon sun, past the busy helpers and guides, the many Saudi fans, the few Polish fans, on and on in the direction of the Education City stadium in north-west Doha and a bit in the direction of fame and glory, at least that's what he's hoping for, but things are slowly getting tight. Sweat drips, eyes fly. Ten minutes until kick-off this Saturday afternoon and Clifton Broomand still hasn't got a ticket. He says: "I love a good competition."
