Alaska, early February. A small plane lands on Kahiltna Glacier, located in Denali National Park, a wilderness of rock and ice. Jost Kobusch, 30 years old, born in Bielefeld, is being dropped off here. Before continuing on foot, he buries provisions and fuel for two weeks. That's how long it can take for a rescue plane to reach him in an emergency.
