Bellingham future: Post World Cup talks

Jude Bellingham is yet to make a decision on his future and is unlikely to do so until after the World Cup in Qatar, sources have confirmed to 90min.

The 19-year-old is developing into one of the most sought-after players in world football and has attracted plenty of interested parties. A move to the Premier League or to Real Madrid is repeatedly brought up by various media abroad - the Telegraph recently reported that Liverpool FC would be in pole position if the Englishman signed.

BVB are well aware of the interest in Bellingham and ideally would like to keep him until at least 2024. 90min have learned that staying at Dortmund is an option Bellingham will definitely consider.

Erling Haaland could have left BVB in 2021, but decided to stay for another year, which didn't hurt his career. Jadon Sancho, Christian Pulisic and Ousmane Dembele, on the other hand, haven't made an immediate impression at their respective new clubs.

Bellingham was linked with a transfer this summer but a move was never an option for him. He is happy with the team and the people he has around him at BVB. Along with his family, he is in no hurry to commit to a move away from Dortmund. But that doesn't mean he couldn't make a move in 2023.

90min has learned talks will be held about his future after the World Cup, where Bellingham could play a key role for England. A decision before the tournament will not be made.

Coming back to Liverpool's good starting position, 90min can confirm that the Reds are perfectly willing to throw their hat in the ring for Bellingham, but they are one of half a dozen clubs keen to make him an offer.
