See the insane goal: Faltering Liverpool are on

A defeat to scoringsstærke Salzburg, unless it was 4-5 or higher score, and the defending champions from Liverpool, had been out of this year's Champions League after the group stage.

But despite a rather nervous effort to go a long way managed rødblusede to pick up a win at 2-0 on two goals in the second half. Thus avoiding the club an embarrassing exit from the gruppefasen.

If the manager Jürgen Klopp had a hard time to find peace out on the sidelines, there's nothing to say to it, Liverpool were in no way in control of the machine on the track.

The defending CL winners had several good chances before the break, but the same had the austrians.

Both teams defensiver so shaky, and the attacks, swaying back and forth between the two goals.

It gave a chancerig the first half, where, among other Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita abused a few good deals for the guests.

At the opposite end was the Norwegian teenagekomet Erling Braut Haaland also close to a few times, while also Hee-Chan Hwang and Takumi Minamino came forward to the nice chances.

Anyway, it was still 0-0 when the players went to break. A fair result at the halfway, but also a result, which kept Liverpool on the brink of failure.

And Klopp must have been frustrated out on the sidelines in the second half beginning.

Salah abused two big chances within the first five minutes, and instead was Haaland very close to send the home team in front shortly after.

Two golden minutes, however, was Liverpool's rescue.

ten minutes into the second half moved Sadio Mané great free and found the Naby Keita in front of the goal, where he could easily head the ball in for 1-0.

And less than two minutes later did the Salah, which would otherwise have been blurred as a woolen sweater, it to 2-0.

From a very acute angle he turned sweeping the ball into the net after a defensive error, and so could the English get ro on.

Salzburg was never in the vicinity of a comeback, as the team was on in the reverse match at Anfield, and Liverpool are ready to round as gruppevinder.

Liverpool were also forced to pick up points since the redningskransen to knockoutfasen in the form of a surprising Genk victory in Naples was never close.

A poor Genk-teams with Danish Joakim Mæhle and the former FC Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu from the start, were quickly driven over by the italians led by the goal-Arkadiusz Milik.

With good help from a terrible effort by Maarten Vandevoordt in the Genk goal, made Milik a genuine hat-trick before the break in a match which ended 4-0 and sent Napoli further as gruppetoer.
