14 years ago, Jon Dahl Tomasson the love of his life in the Line Kongeskov.

The Danish landsholdsassistent, however, had to wait a few years to put a ring on his udkårnes finger. For the first in the summer of 2019 could the two let themselves be married in Copenhagen.

And it was there a particular reason to.

"We have always known that we were to be married. But why it was 'late', due to the fodboldlivet. So as Jon new year's eve 2017, which we celebrated with our good friends, suddenly grabbed guldmikrofonen and sat on one knee, captured, I it not so fast," says Line Kongeskov in the magazine of the Bride.

Jon Dahl Tomassons active football career started in earnest already back in 1994, when he as 18-year-old switched from Køge to Heerenveen.

since then, he has played 16 years abroad, before he as a coach also reached around.

In 2016, was Jon Dahl Tomasson as an assistant to national coach Åge Hareide, and with their success on the national team, had the wedding then postponed a little longer.

"It was then itself that it could not be the summer of 2018, when Denmark and Jon were going to the WORLD cup in Russia. I considered, however, that the call to Putin and to hear, if it could be pulled, but he was not how to get a hold of," says Line Kongeskov.

in the Midst of the glad news however found also a more sad event taking place, tells Line Kongeskov.

"We lost Jon's mother before the wedding. To honor her memory and have her with us on the big day, we opted to melt some of her jewellery on to our wedding rings. My earrings were a combination of heirlooms from my mother-in-law and my grandmother."

"I designed my pendant, which was omsmeltet of my mother-in-law gold, so they could be used with my grandmother's earrings."

the Couple were married in Copenhagen in the summer, and the party was at Odd Fellow Palæet in the inner city. Played here Chief 1, and he filled among other things, the dance floor with his and Rockers By Choices old hit 'Angel'.
