The Italian Serie C club Monza reportedly have offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic a contract of two and a half years.

The Italian Serie C club AC Monza has offered a contract to the Swedish football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has his contract with the LA Galaxy for the new year.

It also reaffirms the club's chairman, Adriano Galliani, according to Football Italia.

AC Monza is owned by the former head of government of Italy Silvio Berlusconi, and he has previously said that he hoped that the swede would get to Monza.

- After the club's president, silvio Berlusconi, gave me the mandate to it, I have put forward an offer to Mino Raiola (Ibrahimovic' agent, ed.).

- He suggested that I talked directly with Zlatan. So I suggested a contract on two and a half years. I said to him: Come to us, then you six months in Serie C next season in Serie B, and in two years we are in Serie A, says Galliani.

Rumors have long buzzing about the Swedish angribers future of europe, and especially Serie A club AC Milan has been mentioned as a possible club for Ibrahimovic.

He has previously played for the Italian team from 2010 to 2012, where it was 42 goals in 61 matches. At the time, was Berlusconi president of the club.

The 38-year-old Swedish striker has since march 2018 played in the MLS but his contract with LA Galaxy expires at the end of the year.

It has been 53 goals in 58 matches for the swede in the american league.

Ibrahimovic has also played in Malmö FF, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

On the Swedish national team, it has been 62 goals in 116 appearances.
