War Netherlands: Selenskyj visits World Criminal Court

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the International Criminal Court in The Hague. The President was received by Court President Piotr Hofmanski on Thursday. In March, the International Criminal Court issued an international arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for alleged war crimes in Ukraine.

Selenskyj had unexpectedly arrived in the Netherlands the evening before. He was scheduled to give a speech on Thursday on "No peace without justice for Ukraine." Later, talks were also planned with Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren. It is the President's first visit to the Netherlands.

Zelenskyj was received in Parliament in the morning. He also spoke to MPs. The Netherlands has so far provided around 1.2 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russia's war of aggression.
