The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin for his responsibility for war crimes in the Ukraine war. Arrest warrants had been issued against Putin and the President's child rights commissioner, Maria Alexeyevna Lwowa-Belowa, the Hague-based court said on Friday. The background is the kidnapping of Ukrainian children to Russia.
