According to a representative survey, Economics Minister Robert Habeck has lost his reputation. The Greens politician slipped from first to fourth place in the top ten list of the ZDF "Politbarometer", as the broadcaster announced on Friday. He gave the top spot to his party colleague, Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir. Habeck was recently criticized in the discussion about the continued operation of nuclear power plants and the gas levy.

Özdemir received the best rating with an average score of 0.5 (early September: 0.7) on a scale of 5 to -5. Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (Greens) is also in second place with 0.5 (0.8). Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) is also rated 0.5 (0.5). Habeck falls back to fourth place with 0.4 (0.9).

Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) with minus 0.1 (0.0), Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) with minus 0.1 (minus 0.1), CSU boss Markus Söder with minus 0, follow at a distance and in the red. 2 (0.0) and the CDU chairman Friedrich Merz with minus 0.3 (minus 0.1).

According to the survey, satisfaction with the traffic light coalition has declined significantly since the beginning of the war against Ukraine. In March, 75 percent believed that the government was doing a good job, but now only 49 percent say so. In the Sunday question, the SPD, as the largest governing party, is only 18 percent, one point less than in the previous survey. Union and Greens also lose a point to 27 and 22 percent respectively.

The FDP with 7 percent (plus 1) and also the AfD with 14 percent (plus 1) could easily gain in comparison to the previous Sunday question. The left would stay at 5 percent.
