The 45-year-old is the top candidate and chairwoman of the right-wing nationalist party "Fratelli d'Italia", Brothers of Italy. Her coalition with Matteo Salvini's "Lega" and Silvio Berlusconi's "Forza Italia" is currently ahead in the polls. After the September 25 elections, Giorgia, as her supporters call her, has a good chance of becoming Italy's new prime minister.
