There are sentences that are particularly easy to say in this year of crisis. "The FDP blocked" is such a sentence. It actually always fits. You can then choose to add what currently determines the news or moves the opinion makers. Citizens' money, relief packages, stretching operations, excess profit tax, climate protection, speed limit - someone is always blocking something in this traffic light coalition. And usually that someone is a liberal.

Sometimes this analysis is correct. Sometimes liberals are wronged. Now and then things get a little more complicated. For example this Monday.
