The Ministry of Defense in Moscow confirmed the crash. At the start, one of the two engines of the machine caught fire, it was said. The two men from the cockpit of the fighter bomber were saved with parachutes. Videos and photos allegedly from Yeysk showed a large explosion close to an eight-story apartment building. Part of the house caught fire up to the roof.
